Blessed 500
There are two special Memorial Frames at Masjid AlRasool AlAkram; one each on the Brothers' and Sisters' side. These are large enough to hold 500 names and the purpose of these exquisite Frames is to have engraved, the names of Marhoomeen of the momineen who donate a certain amount of money*.
The names are read out during the nights of Qadr, forgiveness (maghfirah) is asked for their souls and they are included in the Thawab of worship performed on these Blessed nights.
Also, the Community offers Thawab (from Quran recitation) at Masjid to the souls of these loved oned on Tuedays, Thursdays and Fridays.
*The decided amount for a plaque is $500.
